First come first.
Even a small company like JECKYBENG cannot do without surplus goods and so at the end of the past winter production, a total of 80 meters of our wonderful jacket fabrics remained. Since these so-called "leftover materials" can have color deviations from each new production, a meaningful purpose had to be found. In the end, a limited edition of our RUCKSACK seemed the most sensitive to us because the fabric could be processed on the spot.
The RUCKSACK Light is available in a limited edition at a special price (€ 139) in the jacket colors Deep Ocean and Light Feather. The revised version has a larger volume and now enables the transport of a 15 inch notebook. Without the last used beeswax impregnation, the model with 850g empty weight turns out a bit lighter, but will defy every short rain shower with ease.

About our signature plastic free water-repellent cotton fabric:
It's made from extra thin and long staple cotton fibers using a very tight and traditional weaving technique. When dry, the fabric opens its pores to breathe. When wet, the overtightened cotton fibers swell, thereby sealing the weave and making it water-repellent.
